We welcome everyone – our amazing volunteers, support agencies, old friends, and anyone interested in getting involved. If you’re thinking about volunteering, this is a great opportunity to learn more about what we do!
We provide a wheelchair-friendly, door-to-door transport service covering Newcastle-under-Lyme and areas of Staffordshire.
Public buses and taxis often provide only a kerb to kerb service, and this can be a problem if you have mobility issues. Newcastle Community Transport CIO (NCT CIO) is different. Our friendly drivers can help you get to and from our minibuses. For the elderly and disabled, our door-to-door service can be a much-needed lifeline.
We are not a taxi service. We are a pre bookable community transport service that is dependent on volunteer drivers.
We have all wheelchair accessible vehicles.

About Us
Newcastle Community Transport CIO is a well-known community charity. Founded in 1974, we have a long track record of helping local people with mobility issues. We rely on our brilliant volunteers to drive our minibuses and also look after the jobs that keep us on the road.
